Opis

TheFenix TK16 V2.0 is a new version of the highly regarded TK16 tactical flashlight, which, after the upgrade, provides a 3100 lumen output, a range of 380 m and more modes operated via 2 rear switches.

Construction

Theflashlight's tube is made of anodized A6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, which contributes to its light weight and ensures durability against mechanical damage. The transverse mottling of the surface prevents the flashlight from slipping from the hand and gives it a modern look.

The optical system is protected by a steel crown (raised head elements), which protects the glass in case of a fall or setting on an uneven surface. The functionality of this element is enhanced by 3 tungsten pins, thanks to which the flashlight can be used for self-defense or a rescue tool, for example, to break a vehicle window.

The flashlight has an optimal length of 143 mm, and its weight with the 21700 5000 mAh battery is less than 200 g, Such parameters ensure the comfort and ease of carrying the flashlight. Thanks to the elastic clip (detachable), the flashlight can be attached and carried on a belt, by a backpack or bag, so that it is within easy reach when needed. The body has ahigh IP68 rating, so the flashlight is resistant to immersion in water (30 minutes at a depth of 2 m), dust and dirt, and a fall from a height of 1 m.

Powerful LED

The light source is a new generation LUMINUS SST70 LED, emitting a maximum light output of 3100 lumens at a distance of up to 380 m. The white color of the light reduces eye fatigue, provides more natural color rendition and better visibility of details.
The flashlight uses anti-reflective glass with high light transmission and a smooth reflector, thanks to which the wide light output can effectively illuminate objects up to 380 m away. Such parameters of optics allow to illuminate distant targets, but also to work effectively in confined spaces, so the Fenix TK16 V2.0 will be perfect for patrol and rescue operations.

Convenient operation of modes

The flashlight offers 5 steady light modes: turbo, high, medium, low eco and 1 flash mode: strobe. This number of modes allows you to fine-tune the light parameters to suit the situation and lighting, and allows you to manage the battery efficiently.

There are 2 rear switches for controlling the flashlight: a tactical button responsible for activating the momentary light and turning the flashlight on/off, and a smaller function button for changing the modes of steady white light, and turning on the strobe.

The buttons are located close to each other and can be easily felt even when wearing a glove, so the flashlight can be operated comfortably and with one hand. Such functionality makes the TK16 V2.0 flashlight simple and user-friendly, so it will be great for uniformed services operations.

Power supply

The flashlight is powered by a 21700U type cell with a capacity of as much as 5000 mAh! The use of the cell has nearly twice the capacity of a standard 18650 cell, which affects the performance and extended operating time. The battery uses an innovative charging system in the form of a built-in USB-C port. This extremely practical and convenient solution allows charging the cell without the need for an additional charger. For charging, all you need is a USB-C cable (included) and a power source such as a power bank, laptop, desktop computer or car USB charger.
The USB battery pack not only saves money (on the purchase of a charger), it provides, above all, the convenience and mobility of charging.

According to the manufacturer, the 21700 battery allows as much as 160 minutes in turbo mode and almost 2 days of operation in low mode. The use of two springs in the battery compartment, guarantees stable operation and prevents power failures due to drops.

Safety features

The flashlight uses several protection systems, including reverse polarity protection, low voltage warning and "intelligent protection" against overheating.

The parameters shown were obtained under laboratory conditions. A Fenix ARB-L21U 5000 mAh battery was used during testing.
