When Christof Nagel, founder of the ActiveSol brand, was on vacation with his then 2-year-old son on a charming beach in Corsica, he noticed that they had enough sunscreen with them, but nothing to protect the little one's eyes. Back in Germany, he looked around for matching baby sunglasses, but couldn't find a high-quality model.

So the idea was born to develop your own sunglasses that are specially tailored to the needs of children: Uncompromising sun protection, child-friendly design and absolute robustness are criteria that still stand for ActiveSol sunglasses today.
