Javelins

Javelin throw - an athletics match, during which the competitor who drops the 2.5 m long spear as far as possible will compete. Unlike other throwing matches, the spear is thrown not from the circle but from the runway, which is usually covered with the same coating as the treadmills. The spear can also be thrown from the ground.

The spear consists of a nozzle, a body and a winding. The spears are made of metal and the windings are made of rope. The spears used in the men's competition weigh 800 g and are 260-270 cm long. In women's competitions, the spear weighs 600 g and is 220-230 cm long. The winding is at the center of gravity of the spear. In men's competitions, the length of the winding is 15–16 cm, in women - 14–15 cm.
