The Civivi Brazen is an EDC folding knife with a classic, streamlined design and a tanto type blade. The blade is forged from D-2 carbon steel, which is characterized by resistance to corrosion, wear and damage, as well as high retention (ability to hold sharpness). It is hardened to 59-61 HRC. The Black Stonewash finish has left the blade covered with irregular, fine scratches, well camouflaging subsequent scratches that occur during normal use.
The folder is equipped with ceramic ball bearings, supporting the operation of the knife's opening mechanism. The Liner Lock makes the tool safe and trustworthy. The Civivi Brazen opens with a flipper or a thumb stud on both sides.
The handle facings are made of purple G-10 - a fiberglass and synthetic resin composite that is lightweight and resistant to mechanical damage. Smoothed edges of the facings improve grip confidence and make the knife fit well in the hand.
Thanks to the open backed design, the tool can be cleaned without much trouble. The manufacturer also took care of convenient transportation of the knife, equipping it with a clip on both sides.
