Newton Fitness OB-48 Olympic Super Curl Bar (50 mm) is a barbell designed specifically for training the upper arms. In comparison with the Newton Fitness OB-47 EZ-curl bar the OB 48 is provided with a special tooth shape in the barbell. Because of this it is very good to hold during exercises such as the bicep curl, triceps extension, preacher curl and more.
The major advantage is that the load on the lower arms is spared by the specific shape of the dumbbell bar Because of this the chance of annoying overuse injuries in the forearms is much smaller than when you do these exercises with a "normal" straight barbell.
