The Newton Fitness OB-47 EZ Curl Bar (50 mm) is a barbell that was specially designed for training the upper arms. The special tooth form in the barbell is very good to hold with exercises like the bicep curl, triceps extension, preacher curl and so on.
The major advantage is that the load on the lower arms is spared by the specific shape of the dumbbell bar Because of this the chance of annoying overuse injuries in the forearms is much smaller than when you do these exercises with a "normal" straight bar.
