Purpose:

•silver aluminum foil to protect against sun, rain, cold,

•used in rescue, hiking, climbing, protects against life-threatening heat loss,

•you can use it instead of a sleeping bag, cover a tent with it so it doesn't get hot or wet, shield a bottle of cool drink,

•foil should be in every car.

Protection against cold: the silver-colored side should be on the body side – this allows heat radiation to be reflected and heat to accumulate inside.
