Scandinavian functionality
The Garberg is fixed with a full-tang construction , which means the knife is made of one piece of steel. This design, combined with a 3.2 mm thick head, creates an uncompromising tool of great durability, thanks to which Garberg, in addition to efficient cutting, can also be used for chopping wood, baring and prying. The blade with a working length (109 mm) has a usable drop-point profile and a traditional Scandinavian cut, with above-average cutting parameters. Additional functionality of the knife is provided by the flat spine of the blade, which makes it easier to light the fire with the flint.

The blade is made of carbon steel , which is characterized by high retention (resistance to blunting), wear resistance and high cutting aggressiveness. The blade is covered with a DLC (diamond like carbon) protective coating. This diamond-like wear-resistant coating increases wear and corrosion resistance, lowers friction and provides a smoother cut. Carbon steel provides excellent cutting parameters, but after use, remember to thoroughly clean the blade and preserve it with a little oil to prevent corrosion.
Non-slip grip
The profiled handle is made of polyamide resistant to mechanical damage and difficult weather conditions. The textured grip is handy and comfortable to use, and thanks to the extended base, the user's hand is also protected against slipping on the blade. The pin protruding from the handle can be used as an improvised hammer, glass breaker or chalk scraper.
