The saw blade of the Silky Gomboy Curve 300-8 saw was precisely laser cut from high-carbon steel with high flexibility and high resistance to blunting. Compared to straight saw blades, the new blade with a gentle arcuate profile speeds up cutting and increases work efficiency by up to 15-20%. The slightly oval shape prevents the saw from falling out of the cut and makes it easier to cut the branches above our arms.
The surface of the blade is chrome-plated, which protects it against corrosion, the harmful effects of tree juices and weather conditions. Silky saws are distinguished by an advanced design of the teeth and the sawing technique "towards each other", ensuring maximum comfort and minimum energy input. Sharp teeth for increased efficiency are ground in four planes.
It is also important that only the edges of the teeth are subjected to induction hardening, thanks to which the rest of the saw blade is soft and flexible, thus preventing the saw from breaking during operation or improper use. The Silky Gomboy Curve 300-8 hand saw is equipped with a 300 mm long blade with a construction of 8 teeth for every 30 mm of blade length. Such a blade is best suited for sawing a fresh limb of wood up to 105 mm thick.
The saw is folded in such a way that the aggressive teeth are safely hidden inside the handle. The locking mechanism allows the blade to be locked in two different positions, depending on the situation and working conditions.
The Gomboy model uses a polypropylene handle that guarantees high grip regardless of weather conditions. The set includes a practical closed case, made of transparent material, which protects the tool during transport in a backpack or a tool box.
