Gerber Suspension is a compact multitool with a steel structure, equipped with spring-loaded pliers, Safe.T.Plus automatic lock and a set of 14 useful tools.
Thanks to the solid steel structure and smaller size, the Gerber Suspension is a good edc tool. The multitool has a classic butterfly design, which means that the tools are accessed after unfolding the arms.
Steel structure
Gerber Suspension is a 89 mm multitool made entirely of steel. The skeleton construction of the arms reduces the weight of the tool and gives it a modern style.
Stainless steel is resistant to corrosion, weather conditions and pollution, therefore Gerber Suspension can work in all conditions.
The manufacturer gave up the use of lightweight aluminum, thanks to which the tool is durable and safely withstands high loads arising during prying, tightening and cutting.
Comfortable spring pliers
The main tool of the multitool are spring-loaded needle nose pliers, which are best suited for precision work.
Due to the use of a spring, the pliers can be comfortably operated with one hand, as the jaws open automatically when the pressure is released.
Within the pliers there is a wire and cable cutter, a serrated cutout and cross cutters to improve the grip of the object.
Two blades
Gerber Suspension has two foldable blades: smooth and serrated, thus increasing the functionality and possibilities of using the multitool. The serrated surface is best for cutting hard and fibrous materials such as ropes, tapes and belts.
Saf.T.Lock tool lock
The multitool features an automatic Saf.T.Lock, which protects all tools against folding during operation. The lock sliders (on both arms) have been conveniently positioned so that we can operate with our thumb.
