Morakniv Fire Starter is a high-performance ferrocerium tinder that works in all weather conditions.

The 8 mm thick rod is made of ferrocerium, a synthetic pyrophoric alloy which, when struck, produces hot sparks, reaching temperatures as high as 3000 ° C.

Tinder works even when wet, in rain, snowfall, at any altitude and latitude. A solid bar allows about 7,000 chairlifts.
