Lansky LCAR2 is a set of spare tungsten carbide sharpening inserts dedicated to selected models of Lansky sharpeners.
Tungsten carbide is the second hardest inorganic material used in knife and tool sharpeners after diamond. It is a cheaper and more heat-resistant alternative to diamond.
The controlled-angle sharpening system was designed by Arthur Lansky Levine in 1979. A first of its kind, the knife sharpening system was a hit with consumers, and remains our most popular item.
