Premium steel
The 95 mm long blade was made of CPM-S20V powder steel, hardened to a hardness of 59-61 HRC. CPM-S20V is a "supersteel" with parameters corresponding to Bohler M390 stainless steel.
Due to the high content of chromium and a large amount of vanadium carbides, it is characterized by exceptionally good corrosion and wear resistance, and a very long retention of sharpness.
When choosing a knife made of such steel, it is worth getting a diamond sharpener, because sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and ineffective.
The wide blade with a usable drop-point profile has a matte stonewashed finish, which effectively masks blade scratches and abrasions during work. Thanks to the use of a strong tip and a flat cut, the blade perfectly penetrates and provides very good cutting properties.
The thickness of the blade at its widest point is as much as 4 mm, which guarantees a very high strength of the blade and allows it to be used for demanding activities.
On the back of the blade there are transverse cutters that create a very stable support for the thumb or index finger.
Convenient unfolding
The blade is unfolded with one hand using a milled flipper, a convenient solution for both right and left-handed users.
KVT ball bearings are installed on the axis of the blade, thanks to which the blade works very smoothly and dynamically, which will be appreciated by every user during everyday use.
The pivot screw with a custom nut allows you to adjust the pressure with a half-inch wrench. Against accidental folding of the blade, it is effectively protected by a monolithic frame-lock equipped with a hardened steel insert that prevents abrasion of titanium.
Frame-lock is a solid lock considered to be one of the most durable locking mechanisms, characterized by resistance to dirt and very comfortable operation.
Safe grip
The knife is faced with titanium and G-10 laminate, with very aggressive texturing made in precise 3D technology. The ergonomically profiled handle perfectly fits the hand, ensuring high comfort of use and an extremely safe grip, which is especially important when working harder.
There is also a clip that can be screwed on the right or left cladding. The clip is compatible with clips from other manufacturers, so the user can adjust this element to his own preferences.
In the rear part of the handle there is a hole for attaching the paracord braid.
Foldable clip
Despite its considerable size, the knife can accompany our daily activities. This is facilitated by a high-mounted clip (which can be moved to both sides), which allows for discreet carrying of the knife in a pocket.
