The Morakniv Tactical SRT black is a solid outdoor knife, equipped with a partially serrated stainless steel Sandvik 12C27 blade, a comfortable profiled handle and a polymer sheath with a Molle system.
The Tactical SRT is a camp knife with a fixed blade (hidden-tang) with a thickness of 3.2 mm and a length of 109 mm, which allows you to perform most of the tasks that we can face during a trip or living in the forest.
The blade is partially serrated, enabling efficient cutting of hard and fibrous materials such as roots, ropes and belts. The serrations are applied close to the handle, so we can work with a smooth and a serrated cutting edge at the same time.
The knife blade is made of the valued Sandvik 12C27 steel, hardened in the 56-58 HRC range. This Swedish stainless steel has a low level of contamination, high resistance to corrosion and chipping, and a fine carbide structure for very aggressive and efficient cutting and cutting edge strength.
The entire blade was covered with a DLC (diamond-like carbon) protective coating. This diamond-like wear-resistant coating increases wear and corrosion resistance, lowers friction and provides a smoother cut.
Unlike carbon steel, stainless steel is virtually maintenance-free and requires no maintenance, except when wiped dry after washing or using in a humid environment.
Scandinavian grinding guarantees high durability, long maintenance of the working sharpness and easy sharpening in field conditions.
The flat back of the blade has a sharp edge designed to work with the flint.
The handle of the knife is made of soft TPE rubber with a non-slip texture. The grip has an anatomical shape with a distinct finger cut and a small crossguard to prevent the hand from slipping onto the blade.
For carrying the Morakniv Tactical SRT, we get a polymer sheath with an open structure with a Molle mount, which allows the knife to be mounted on tactical equipment in the Palls / Molle system
