The Gerber Principle Bushcraft is a thoroughbred puuko-style camp knife with a 420HC stainless steel drop point blade, flat Scandinavian cut and a solid rubberized grip.
Gerber Principle Bushcraft is a small fixed that was created for fans of bushcraft and survival. However, due to the typical utility nature of the knife, the Gerber Principle Bushcraft will work well in almost any outdoor activity, e.g. camping, fishing, hiking, trekking and hunting.
Stainless steel
The blade is made of 420HC tough stainless steel, which is characterized by an increased content of carbon and chromium, ensuring its corrosion resistance and good hardenability comparable to AUS 6.
Due to its resistance to wear and corrosion, good sharpness and easy sharpening, the blade made of 420HC steel will perform well in the field.
Solid build
The Gerber Principle Bushcraft is an outdoor knife with a fixed blade and a full-tang shank, which means that the fixed knife is made of one piece of steel.
Such a construction in combination with a 3 mm thick head ensures durability and strength of the tool, thanks to which Gerber Principle Bushcraft can also be used for chopping wood, baring and prying.
Functional blade
The blade with an optimal working length (82 mm) has a usable drop-point profile and a traditional Scandinavian cut with excellent cutting properties. The flat spine of the blade with a 90 ° angle is perfect for working with flint, making it easier to start a fire.
Scandinavian grinding has an additional advantage, its high cutting edge allows for easy and instinctive sharpening, so less experienced people will also be able to restore sharpness.
Comfortable handle
The handle of the knife is made of rubber linings, which are attached to the mandrel with steel sleeves. The non-slip rubber texture and aggressive contouring ensure a firm and comfortable grip of the knife.
The handle has 3 holes that allow the knife to be placed on the shaft (creating an improvised spear) or wrapped with a paracord that improves the comfort of use.
Polymer sheath
The knife is carried with a polymer sheath with a MOLLE assembly, which allows the knife to be attached to a belt or Molle system.
