Opinel 02 inox beech is a miniature folding knifein the form of a key ring, made of Sandvick 12C27 stainless steel and beech wood.

Swedish stainless steel

The 32mm long head is made of Swedish Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, whose composition and parameters can be compared to the popular 440A steel.

Due to its high hardness, purity of composition, abrasion and corrosion resistance and regular distribution of carbides, the Sandvik 12C27 steel blade maintains sharpness for a long time and can be easily sharpened even with a pocket sharpener.
