Description

TheFenix WF26R is a state-of-the-art flashlight with a 3000 lumen output charged via a magnetic cable, equipped with a battery level indicator, a metal clip and a 21700 battery with a capacity of as much as 5000 mAh.

The Fenix WF26R is ideal for uniformed and emergency services, construction crews, technical supervisors and people who want their flashlight to always be in full working order.

Fenix WF26R - flashlight with docking station for uniformed and emergency services

The flashlight's body is made of anodized aircraft-grade aluminum A6061-T6, which contributes to its light weight and provides resistance to mechanical damage. The transverse mottling of the body provides a comfortable grip and prevents the flashlight from slipping from the hand. The optical system of the flashlight is protected by a crown (toothed ring on the head), which protects the glass in case of a fall or setting on an uneven surface.

The flashlight, which is 155 mm long with a 21700 5000 mAh battery, weighs only 222 g, so it can be carried comfortably at the belt, in a tool bag and in a backpack. The Fenix WF26R has a proven attachment method in the form of a spring clip, which allows you to quickly detach and attach the flashlight so that it is always within easy reach.

The light source is a new generation LUMINUS SST70 LED that emits a maximum light output of 3000 lumens at a distance of up to 450 meters. The white neutral light color reduces eye fatigue, provides more natural color rendering (high CRI coefficient) and better visibility of details. The flashlight uses anti-reflective glass with high light transmission and a smooth reflector placed in a large head. This design resulted in a concentrated light beam that can illuminate objects up to 450 meters away. In Turbo 3000 lumens mode, the flashlight's total runtime is as long as 161 minutes*. And in the economical Eco 30 lumens mode, the flashlight can operate continuously for nearly 2 days (more than 44 hours).

The flashlight offers 4 constant light modes: Eco, Medium, High and Turbo, and 2 flashlight modes: Strobo and S.O.S. Thus, the brightness of the flashlight can be easily adjusted to our needs and situations, and can be used to mark locations and send a visual SOS alarm signal. Functionality is enhanced by the memory function, which remembers the last selected brightness mode (except Turbo and flash modes) and automatically selects the remembered light mode when the flashlight is turned on again.

There are 2 rear switches for controlling the flashlight: a large round button responsible for turning the flashlight on/off, and a smaller function button for changing the brightness of the light, and activating flash modes. The buttons are located close to each other and can be easily felt even with a glove, so the flashlight can be comfortably operated with one hand even in total darkness.

The flashlight is powered by a 21700 type cell with a capacity of as much as 5000 mAh! The cell used has nearly twice the capacity of a standard 18650 cell, which affects performance and extended runtime.

A major innovation is the ability to charge the battery (without removing it from the flashlight) using the included docking station and magnetic cable. To charge the battery, simply insert the flashlight into the docking station. During the automatic charging process, the battery will be fully charged in just 3 hours. Thanks to the docking station, we can not only conveniently charge the battery, but also easily ensure that the flashlight is always fully operational. The charging station has spring-loaded jaws and can be attached to a wall, the cockpit of a car or a table top, so we are guaranteed that the flashlight will always be waiting for us in the same place after being put away. In a situation where we need more freedom and need to be mobile, the magnetic cable can simply be detached from the station and taken with us. Magnetic charging is convenient, it protects the port and cable from mechanical damage (jerking out) and excludes the need to check each time whether the plug is properly plugged in.

Thanks to the function of the battery level indicator (LED in the body) and low voltage warning, we can control the operation of the flashlight and manage the remaining energy reserve. When the flashlight is turned on, the indicator informs us about the battery status for 3 seconds.

Battery level indications:

  • glowing green LED: 100-85%,
  • flashing green LED: 85-50%,
  • glowing red LED: 50-25%,
  • flashing red LED: 25-1%.

The flashlight uses several protection systems, including reverse polarity protection, low voltage warning and "smart protection" against overheating, which reduces brightness when a defined temperature is reached. The high IP68 rating makes the flashlight resistant to total immersion in water (30 minutes at a depth of 2 meters), dust and dirt, and falling.

The parameters shown were obtained under laboratory conditions. Fenix ARB-L21 5000 mAh battery was used during testing.
