Fenix LD15R angle LED flashlight

Fenix LD15R is a compact angle flashlight with 500 lumen output, two light colors, USB charging option and a very useful feature, in the form of a battery level indicator. It comes with an ARB-L16-700 rechargeable battery.

The Fenix LD15R, by its design, refers to the angle flashlights used in the US Army for nearly 70 years. The compact body, with a length of only 70 mm, is made of lightweight and durable aircraft aluminum subjected to the HA-III hard anodizing process. Ribbing on the head and barrel acts as a heat sink, responsible for dissipating excess heat released during flashlight operation. The formula of the angle flashlight, is a proven and very practical solution useful for both hiking and everyday use. The steel clip allows you to attach the flashlight to your equipment or clothing in two ways (up/down). To meet the needs of customers, a strong magnet (in the cap) has been installed in the Fenix LD15R, allowing you to instantly attach the flashlight to a steel surface. These two simple forms of attachment mean that the user's hands remain free and we can concentrate on the activity at hand.

The light source of the Fenix LD15R angle flash light is two emitters, a white Cree XP-G3 LED and a red Everlight LED. Depending on our needs, we can use a stream of white light with a maximum brightness of 1800 candelas and a range of 85 meters, or a discreet, non-glare red light with a stream of 4 lumens. The light intensity is, of course, adjustable, the user has 4 levels of white light brightness ( Low→Med→High→Turbo) and 3 modes of red light (steady red light→signal red light→SOS).

Only one button is used to turn the flashlight on/off and change modes, as a result, the user can enjoy a very simple and intuitive interface. The flashlight remembers the last mode selected and the next time it is turned on, it automatically activates that brightness level.

The Fenix LD15R angle flashlight is powered by a 16340 ARB-L16-700 rechargeable battery (included), providing up to 80 minutes of operation in Turbo 500 lumen mode. A great convenience and practicality is the function of charging the battery without removing it from the flashlight. On board the Fenix LD15R flashlight, there is a chip and a micro USB port, allowing you to recharge the battery, for example, via a power-bank. A rubber plug, protects the socket from moisture, dust and water. The flashlight also has a battery level indicator. Located under the switch rubber band, the LED simply and clearly communicates the power status, allowing for more efficient management of the energy reserve.

Battery level indicator messages:

• steady green light: 100-85%
• flashing green light: 85-50%
• steady red light: 50-25%
• pulsating red light: 25-1%

Despite its small size, the flashlight features a high IP68 rating, meaning resistance to immersion in water to a depth of 2 meters and a fall from a height of 1.5 meters.
