The Photochromic Sunglasses VIF One provide superior protection and comfort in all kinds of conditions. The lenses are treated with a special hydrophobic filter, which is scratch-resistant and water-repellent, so even in the rain, the sunglasses are perfectly transparent and also absorb less moisture and thus, they do not fog up.
The photochromic lens with UV400 filter and a light transmittance ranging from S0 - S2 is the ideal choice for sports in variable sun conditions, such as cycling or running in the woods. The photochromic lenses are self-darkening, allowing them to adjust themselves to the surrounding weather within a pre-defined range of solar intensity. NTS (Non-Temperature-Sensitive) technology activates the tint of the glasses according to the intensity of UV radiation, not the ambient temperature. And the best thing is that it only takes 10-15 seconds to darken the visor, depending on the UV intensity of the location. In the dark, it is completely clear, and in the light, it achieves the color of classic sunglasses.
The sunglasses boast a simple lens replacement mechanism, which allows you to change the lenses in three seconds. The rubber of the nose-piece and temples stays grippy even when wet, so the sunglasses will stick to your nose during any sports activity, they ensure comfort even when the sunglasses are worn for a longer period of time and most importantly, during a potential crash.
These sunglasses have a frame made of Grilamid TR90, which is very light, flexible and durable and its properties surpass classic polycarbonate or nylon and significantly affects the comfort, safety and durability of the entire glasses. TR90 is a transparent polyamide made of mixtures of various synthetic resins. It is characterized mainly by very low weight, high flexibility and strength. This material is partly used in Formula 1.
Warning: Don’t leave the sunglasses in places where the temperature exceeds 60°C, e.g. in the car during a hot summer day or a sauna!
