Made of genuine 100% silk, this hooded hooded hooded collar protects the head, face and neck, leaving only the eyes visible. Suitable for work use, motorcycling, skiing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, sailing and mountain conditions. Three modes of use: 1. Under a cap, hood or helmet. 2. lift up the lower edge of the neck and lower it back to protect the ears, thus transforming the hood into a cap. 3. Push the head through the eye hole and you have a neck-warming collar. Under a thicker headgear, hood or helmet for extra warmth in demanding conditions. Silk insulates and wicks moisture away from the skin, leaving it feeling warm. Silk, as the strongest natural fibre, allows the balaclava to be made extremely thin, so it packs down to a minimum and is easy to carry around, yet is wear-resistant. Dries very quickly.
