The name NOHrD is derived from company’s location: its home is in Northern Germany, whereby the „NOH“ refers to the county's Nordhorn and the „D“ for Deutschland, therefore: „Made in Germany“. 

Each piece of NOHrD wooden exercise equipment is handcrafted in its manufacturing facility. The combination of classic handcraft and precision machine technology ensures consistent quality and constant progress. NOHrD places high value on respecting environment, processing all bark and wood completely- there is no waste. 

Production residue in its facility is used for power generation. NOHrD further use its factory’s 1500 sq meter area for producing its own solar electricity, with which company can power its machinery with low-emission efficiency.
