The Lansky Medium Diamond LDHMD stone is used to give a working sharpness edge and is used in the middle phase of the sharpening process.
The stone is designed for Lansky brand sharpening systems and can also be used as a stand-alone whetstone. Gradation 280 is used for sharpening severely dulled cutting edges, usually after initial derivation using a coarse gradation.
Diamond-coated whetstones are designed for sharpening blades made of hard steel with a high degree of hardening, such as CPM-S30V. Fits all Lansky kits.
The insert is mounted in a polymer case with an ergonomic shape, equipped with a brass threaded insert for a guide (not included).
Note: When sharpening, do not use heavy pressure, water or oil. Clean the plate in warm water with mild detergent.
