Swedish 12C27 stainless steel - precision and durability in a Morakniv outdoor knife.
At the heart of the knife is a 3.2 mm thick blade made of Swedish 12C27 stainless steel made by Alleima, hardened to 58 HRC. This is a proven material that guarantees high corrosion resistance, stability of the cutting edge and ease of sharpening in field conditions, e.g. with apocket sharpener.
The 26-28° Scandinavian (Scandi) grind provides excellent control when planing, carving or preparing kindling, and the 37-39° edge gives an optimal compromise between aggressive sharpness and durability.
The reinforced blade design allows you to perform more demanding tasks without worry - from kindling preparation to woodworking and camp construction.
Adapted for bushcraft and fire starting
When designing the Amberg model, care was taken with practical details that realistically increase its functionality in the field. The back of the blade has been properly finished, so that it can work with a ferrocerium flint, allowing you to quickly and effectively start a fire. This is an extremely important feature during camping, survival or bushcraft expeditions, when the ability to prepare a fire determines comfort and safety. This makes the Amberg not only a cutting tool, but also an important piece of survival equipment.
Modern handle in Mora knife for maximum control
One of the greatest strengths of the Amberg model is the new, refined handle design, designed to fit different grip styles and hand sizes. A flattened profile and a tapered front end increase control of the blade during precision work. The special high-friction micro-texture pattern has been lab-tested to ensure a secure grip even in difficult conditions - when hands are wet, cold or dirty. The three-component handle design combines a solid PP core with a TPE outer layer, offering an excellent balance between durability and comfort.
Functional scabbard and Swedish craftsmanship
It also comes with a symmetrical scabbard that can be comfortably worn on either the right or left side for added functionality during outdoor activities. Amberg is a knife that grows with the user - the more adventures you experience, the more you will appreciate its reliability. The outdoor knife is made in Mora, Sweden, based on more than 135 years of knife-making tradition, which guarantees quality workmanship and longevity. It's a tool made to accompany you on hundreds of expeditions - from your first camping trip to demanding expeditions.
