At the heart of the knife is a massive 91mm-long blade made of German C100S carbon steel, prized for its high strength and ability to stay sharp for a long time. The blade's thickness of 3.2 mm provides much greater resistance to stress than in standard outdoor models, making the knife ideal for more demanding tasks such as splitting fine wood, intensive planing and outdoor craft work. The classic Scandinavian grind (Scandi grind) guarantees excellent control during precision cutting and very easy sharpening even in field conditions. The steel's hardness of 57.5 HRC provides an ideal compromise between durability and damage resistance.
The carbon steel offers exceptional cutting aggressiveness and ease of resharpening even in field conditions, e.g.with a pocket sharpener, so the knife remains ready for action on any expedition - from camping and hiking to more demanding bushcraft tasks.
