At the heart of the knife is a 2mm thick blade made of Swedish 12C27 stainless steel made by Alleima, hardened to 56.5 HRC. This is a proven material that guarantees high resistance to corrosion, stability of the cutting edge and ease of sharpening in field conditions, e.g. with apocket sharpener.
The 22-24° Scandinavian (Scandi) grind provides excellent control when planing, carving or preparing kindling, and the 37-39° edge gives an optimal compromise between aggressive sharpness and durability. The blade goes deep into the handle, which increases structural stability and precision for tasks that require close-fingered operation.

The handle, made entirely of durable polypropylene (PP), is resistant to moisture, dirt and low temperatures.
