The Kershaw RATE is a compact and folding EDC knife whose compact size will make it easy for you to handle everyday cutting tasks like opening packages or taking apart cardboard boxes. It is equipped with a 7.6 cm long Wharncliffe blade, made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. It features a thumb support from above (jimpling) and a handle made entirely of stainless steel, which gives this knife a unique and elegant look.

Robust and secure Frame Lock lock
The knife uses the Frame Lock locking mechanism, which ensures a solid locking of the blade during use, minimizing the risk of accidental folding. This solution is especially appreciated in EDC knives, where safety of use is crucial.
8Cr13MoV steel blade in the RATE knife
The knife's blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel, which will perform well in everyday use. It is characterized by high corrosion resistance, good sharpness retention and ease of resharpening, for which a pocket whetstone is completely sufficient.

The knife uses a durable steel handle, so you don't have to worry about damaging it due to use in harsh weather conditions. In addition, the rough surface translates into a firm grip, further enhancing your control over the knife during use.
