Kershaw Bel Air with CPM Magna Cut steel blade
The knife has a blade made of CPM Magna Cut stainless steel produced with powder technology. The main difference between CPM Magna Cut steel and other stainless steels is the amount of chromium admixture. The elimination of chromium carbides from the steel's composition has resulted in a fine microstructure, making it much easier to sharpen compared to steels with similar wear resistance.Importantly, the absence of chromium carbides not only improved the balance of strength and wear resistance, but also its resistance to corrosion.
Convenient unfolding of the Kershaw folder
The blade can be conveniently and quickly unfolded with one hand by means of a double-sided peg, which is convenient for both right- and left-handed people. KVT ball bearings ensure high operating culture and smooth opening of the blade.
Robust Dura Lock
The Dura Lock used in the Kershaw knife is structurally similar to the otherwise well-known Axis Lock, a system that is widely considered to be very secure and robust for locking the blade . The lock is placed in such a position that it can be comfortably operated with the thumb on both sides of the handle.
Durable and lightweight G10 composite handle
The Kershaw knife uses a G10 composite handle. It is a durable and lightweight composite made of glass-epoxy laminate. It is characterized by high resistance to moisture, chemicals and extreme temperatures. In addition, the textured surface translates into a firm grip, which further enhances the control of the knife during use.
Convertible clip in EDC knife
Discreetly carrying the knife in your pocket is made possible by the Deep Carry clip, which can be mounted on both sides of the handle. The deep seating of the clip makes it convenient to carry in your pants pocket.
