Benchmade Taiga SK Station Knife - exclusive kitchen knives in the Kolba store.
The CPM-154 used in the knife is a powder stainless steel with high carbon, chromium and molybdenum content, which provides an ideal balance between corrosion and wear resistance with strength and hardness. Such properties make CPM-154 steel an ideal material equally for kitchen knives, but also hunting knives. Thanks to the 28° SelectEdge technology (14° per side), the knife has a thin, perfectly sharp cutting edge, which is perfect for precision cutting, which will be especially valuable when working with delicate fish meat, or sizeable beef, pork and game cuts that require a deep cut.
Unique for a kitchen knife, the profile of the blade makes it extremely versatile in culinary applications. The form is referred to by the manufacturer as Clip Point, however, it actually resembles more of a Wharncliffe profile, guaranteeing great tip strength while reducing the weight of the blade. This makes the knife perfectly balanced, and the relatively short blade allows for efficient maneuvering. The generous amphibian allows it to be used in a similar way to a Chinese chef's knife, guaranteeing a sizable surface for crushing garlic or conveniently transferring chopped products from the board to the pan.
The ergonomic handle on the Benchmade kitchen knife guarantees comfortable operation
The knife's grip is inspired by the best products from Benchmade's outdoor pedigree, yet adapted to the realities of everyday kitchen use. Ergonomics here stand at an exemplary level, and thanks to the use of lightweight and durable anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, the grip surface guarantees an extremely secure hold even in wet hands. A decorative hole has been placed at the end of the handle for attaching a cord or tag.
The Benchmade Taiga Station Knife is more than a tool - it's a manifesto of style, power and respect for craftsmanship. Capture that special moment before it disappears. Like the dawn over the taiga.
