The Civivi Conspirator's head is made of Nitro-V steel characterized by similar properties to the popular Sandvik 14C28N. Excellent corrosion resistance with good edge retention make the Conspirator an ideal choice for an EDC knife.
Civivi Conspirator - head
The Conspirator features a blade of the widely used and proven Drop Point type. The pronounced belly, combined with a high and concave grind, makes the knife cut perfectly. A section of the blade's back is covered with the so-called upper jimping, a notch that allows the thumb to rest there safely. This makes it easier to manipulate the folder, especially during work requiring greater precision and leverage.
Bearings, flipper and button lock
The folder is equipped with ceramic ball bearings, which significantly support the operation of the knife's opening mechanism.
The folder is equipped with a button lock. Wanting to release it, you need to press the button located on one of the facings. Under the lock button is a spring, providing enough resistance to avoid accidental opening.
The Conspirator can be opened in two ways: by gravity, after releasing the lock, or by pressing on the index-finger flipper. The latter, when opened, also forms a kind of guard, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade. It is worth adding that thanks to the button lock the knife can be simply played with, which is a lot of fun.
Civivi Conspirator - handle
The Conspirator has a handle made of black mircarta. It is a composite made from a combination of pressure-pressed canvas and synthetic resin. Thanks to the rough texture and smooth edge of the facings, the knife fits well even in tired and sweaty hands.
Double-sided clip and case
The manufacturer also took care of convenient transportation of the knife, equipping it with a double-sided clip. It was constructed in such a way that the tool almost does not protrude from the pocket and is not conspicuous.
The folder can also be carried in a zippered nylon case.
