The Kershaw Cybernet is an OTF knife, so its blade extends forward, but the difference is that both the extension and retraction of the blade is done manually.
The flat-ground blade is made of D2 tool steel. Thanks to a relatively high admixture of vanadium and a large amount of chromium, the steel has high wear resistance and good resistance to deformation under high temperatures. It cuts quite aggressively. The 61-mm-long blade is extended forward (Out The Front) by means of a slide. The drop-point profile blade has a single-sided cutting edge and a strong hilt, resistant to breakage and chipping. A button-lock guarantees the user the necessary security.
Made of steel, the knife 's handle has a modern minimalist design. The manufacturer also took care of a high-set clip, allowing the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket.
