The built-in charge level indicator lets you know the battery status as soon as you turn the device on, so you can plan your use accordingly.

The flashlight has built-in protection against overheating and over-discharge, as well as a smart memory chip that remembers the last mode used (excluding special modes). This means that the flashlight is ready to work exactly as you expect it to - without having to re-set modes.
